Overview

Rajasthan is one of the most colorful state of India, it has the royal heritage of the Rajputs, and hence the state is also known as The Land of Great Kingdoms, You can feel the essence of culture and tradition of Great Rajput kingdoms spread over the entire state, embellished with forts and palaces.

‘Rajput Heritage Tour’ is the well-designed package which will give you the chance to explore the most vibrant state of Rajasthan where you can look closely the culture and tradition of the locals along with the glorious palaces and forts of the state. Along with that you will get an opportunity to explore the most beautiful Mughal architecture of India Taj Mahal, which is known as a symbol of love and affection, you will feel the metropolitan yet one of the historical and multicultural city Delhi, which is also the capital of India. The duration of the package is 16 nights and 17 days, covering the places such as Delhi, Samode, Nawalgarh, Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ghanerao, Ranakpur, Udaipur, Deogarh, Jaipur, Kanota and Agra.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi Sightseeing

On arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed to the hotel,Check in at the hotel. After freshen up, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Delhi, including Old Delhi as well as New Delhi. The sightseeing covers the main attractions of Delhi such as Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, The monument commemorates the Indian Solider was killed during the world for and Afghan war, the monument has names of the soldiers engraved on the walls of the monument who died in these wars,  Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Visit the towering Qutab Minar, Purana Quila, Humayun's Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial. In the evening enjoy the Sound & Light Show at Red Fort. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi-Samode(By Road-38kms)

After early breakfast, after breakfast, proceed to Samode. It is a small village in the suburbs of Jaipur, located at the distance of about 231 kilometers away from Delhi. Samode is known for the Samode palace, Samode Haveli and Samode Bagh, these are the heritage monuments and structures constructed by 'Maha Rawal' of the Amber and Jaipur. The palaces here exhibit the beautifully carved interiors and the marvelous frescoed walls.

Upon arrival at Samode, check-in to you pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening you may explore the village life and get an amazing experience of Kamal Safari, seat on camel’s back and enjoy the local traditions and life. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Samode-Jaipur-Nawalgarh

Today after breakfast, drive to Nawalgarh. En route to visit Jaipur. The major tourist attractions of Jaipur include Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Central Museum and Birla Mandir. Later in the day enjoy an excursion to Amer Fort seating on the back of an elephant. Also visit City Palace along with the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal.

After the visit, drive to Nawalgarh. On reaching Nawalgarh, check-in at your pre booked hotel. Relax for a while. Then proceed to visit the major tourist attractions of Nawalgarh such as Roop Niwas Palace, Ganga Mai Temple and the British Clock Tower. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Nawalgarh-Mandawa(By Road-25kms)

After breakfast drive straight to Mandawa. Mandawa is the major part of Shekhawati region, it is a small town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. It is located about 190 kilometre away from Jaipur. Mandawa is known for its havelies and forts.

Upon arrival in Mandawa, check-in at the hotels. After freshen up, proceed for the city tour of Mandawa. Firstly visit to the splendid Mandawa Haveli. The intricately painted walls of this place and the detailed work will enthrall you to the fullest. After that visit some other popular havelis include the Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, and the Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli. After visiting the havelies, return back to the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Mandawa-Bikaner(By Road-195kms)

After breakfast, drive towards Bikaner. Bikaner is a most vibrant desert town with tremendous forts, utterly sculptured temples of red and yellow sand stones display some of the finest creations of Rajput civilization. It is the most beautiful yet very quiet destination of Rajasthan.

Once you arrive in Bikaner, check into your hotel. After freshen up, proceed for sightseeing that will cover main attractions of the town such as Raj Ratan Bihari temple, Junagarh Fort, Rasik Shiromani temple and the Karni Mata Temple. Enjoy comfortable night stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Bikaner 

Post breakfast, proceed to visit Bhand Sagar temple. The temple is famous for its beautiful interiors, art and wall paintings. The temple houses a group of Jain and Hindu temples, which are among the oldest edifices in the city of Bikaner. In the evening you have the option to enjoy such as camel riding, village jeep safaris, bird watching and village walks. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 7: Bikaner-Jaisalmer(By Road-330kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Jaisalmer by road. The Golden city’, Jaisalmer is situated 575 kilometers west from Jaipur. Jaisalmer comes under word heritage site. It is one of the most romantic places in India and also exotic destination for Indian as well as foreign tourists. For centuries this little settlement near India – Pakistan border was a trading post via which series of camels trekked cross deserts to Afghanistan and west Asia for trading.

On reaching Jaisalmer, check-in at one of our listed hotels. The day is to be spent at leisure. In the evening visit the Jaisalmer Fort- a dominant structure between the sand. Retire for the night at the hotel.

Day 8: Jaisalmer

Post breakfast, embark on a guided tour to Jaisalmer. You will cover the major tourist attractions of Jaisalmer include Trikuta hill, Suraj Pol or Sun Gate Jain Temples, Bada Bagh, Government Museum, Folklore Museum and the Amar Sagar Lake. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Jaisalmer

Today after breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of the city. Jaisalmer is also famous for its havelies, visit to Salim ji Ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli.

By evening you will visit the stunning Sam Sand Dunes, No trip to Jisalmer is completed without visiting its vast Thar Desert. To feel the real colour of desert, this is the ideal location for to take the Desert Safari. Here you can enjoy the camel ride or enjoy the ever lively folk dances and music of Rajasthan as the sun sets. After that return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur(By Road-285kms)

After breakfast proceed to Jodhpur by road, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed to the hotel.Jodhpur, it is also known as the metropolitan city of Rajasthan. The city was established in 1459 by Raja Jodha, a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan. Jodhpur also popular for its forts, palaces, temples and the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. Due to the vivid blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort, it also called the “Blue City”. Jodhpur traveler spots remain as a living demonstration of the quality, traditions and culture.

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest for a while. Then proceed for an excursion to beautiful forts and palaces including Jaswant Thada, Raj Ka Bag Palace, Mehrangarh fort and the Umaid Bhavan Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Jodhpur-Ghanerao(By Road-155kms)

Post breakfast, explore the Government Museum and the beautiful Umed Garden till afternoon. Afterwards return to the hotel for lunch.  Later in the day, drive to Ghanerao. Ghanerao small village of Rajasthan, There are many Hindu and Jain temples in and around Ghanerao.

On reaching Ghanerao, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 12: Ghanerao-Ranakpur(By Road-25kms)

Post breakfast, leave for your next destination, Jodhpur. En-route, visit Ranakpur, which is renowned for its Jain temples. The exquisite Jain temples of Ranakpur are a touch of glowing white marble in this green hilly part of Rajasthan. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13: Ranakpur-Udaipur(By Road-95kms)

Today after having the breakfast, proceed to Udaipur, located at a distance of 325 km from Pushkar. Udaipur is also known as “City of Lakes”. The city has clean lakes dotted with isles, which are decorated with ancient forts and palaces.

Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening enjoy boat ride at the Pichola Lake. Also visit the Lake Palace, one of the finest examples of architectural and cultural marvel. Stay the night in the hotel.

Day 14: Udaipur-Deogarh(By Road-135kms)

Post breakfast, drive staright to Deogarh. It is located at the 80 kilometers from Udaipur. Kwon for the beauty and bliss it offers.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. After freshen up proceed for the major attraction of the town include Deogarh Mahal and the Dashavatar temple. The Dashavatar temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and belongs to the Gupta period when it was known as the Panchayatan temple.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in the evening.

Day 15: Deogarh-Jaipur- Kanota

After breakfast, after breakfast, proceed for Jaipur. After reaching Jaipur, drive to eastern side of Kanota. Kanota is a conglomeration of 7 villages in the Jaipur. It is the one of the unique place which represents the real rural life of Rajasthan.

On reaching, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 16: Kanota-Agra(By Road-220kms)

After breakfast, dive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check-in to the hotel. After freshen up. Leave for a sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit Agra Fort, Sikandra, Itmad-Ud-Daulah.

The Agra fort was built by Akbar between 1565 -1573. This fort is built alongside the banks of River Yamuna and stretches for a length of almost 2.5 km. The fort is made using splendid pieces of red sandstone and white marble and the inner area inlaid with various semi-precious stones.

Nur Jahan the wife of Jahangir built a tomb for her father Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din, who died in 1622. The tomb was called as Imad-Ud-Daula. The tomb is built entirely of white marble. As its unique architectural style and structure, the tomb also called “Baby Taj”. This monument is situated near Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Later, return to the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. You can go out to explore the local market of the Agra. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 17: Agra-Delhi(By Road-220kms)

After breakfast, drive to Delhi. As you reach Delhi, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Rest and relax till evening in your hotel room.  In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner, before being transfer to Delhi airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
